Bella the Dog needs a home

 

Hi I'm Bella!  I'm about 40 pounds, which is a really nice size, and probably 3-4 years old.  Sometime I look like a Fox Terrier and other times like a hound or pit mix, so who know what I am?  What I can say for sure is that I've been very well-behaved in my foster home.  I stay in a crate (very quietly and politely) at night and when my foster parents aren't home, and roam free when they are home.  I haven't had any accidents in the house or chewed anything up.  Mostly I lay on the dog bed. I sit nicely for a treat and my foster mom says I'm super easy to train.  When I see a coyote outside I bark the most vicious sounding bark and scare them away!  Sometimes I will bark when I see a person outside, too, so if you don't want strangers poking around I will take care of that!  I don't bark just to be a nuisance, though.  In spite of my scary bark, I've been very friendly to everyone I've met, including kids.  I was even good when my foster mom cut my nails and gave me shots.  I had a litter of puppies when I was found but I'm getting back in shape and putting on some much-needed weight.  I LOVE food and sometimes I'll scary growl or bark if another dog comes too close when I'm eating, but otherwise I've been fine with the other dogs I've met so far.  Please do an application if you would like to meet me.  I'll be ready to go home on Feb 24.




Our dog adoption fees range from $150-$240 depending on the dog's age, and our cat fees range from $45-120.  They are all spayed/neutered, microchipped with lifetime registration, and have received age appropriate vaccines. If you would like to meet one of our pets, please do the online application at
